I try to recognize some of the equipment you choose. Nothing is more important than shoes. What do you prefer? Sorry if it has been asked, I am new to this forum.

I have noticed that you wear mostly Merryl shoes. I understand why you wear them. They are extreamly comfortable. I love watching the show. Bear,you are definately a rolemodel to me. I am glad that you refer to Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. God be with you and your family on your next survival show.

I would say that he has made a excellent choice with regards to his shoes. Merryl shoes are extremeley comfortable.

i hear he uses Merrell brand shoes. I just bought me some. they are amazingly comfortable. but expensive...

Unfortunately everything which is comfortable etc is very expensive!

I can't find the same Merrel shoes with the stretch version. I think they discontinued them:(

i have the merrell chameleon stretch II, got them from usa. cost me about $160 dollars aussie. therre great shoes best shoes ive ever bought

I bought a pair of the Merrell Gore-tec XCR low cut. They have only been on one hike so far but I must say my feet loved them (they normally ache).

Don't forget when buying hiking shoes to allow more toe space to limit blisters.
